We didn’t get to visit the town of Krems, but we saw all of it – from above. As you might expect, the abbey provides great views of Krems and the Danube valley.

1. This wood panel is in the back of the church. It shows an angel blessing the town and citizens of Krems.
2. Krems is part of the Wachau valley (a section of the Danube) and the abbey enjoys a great view.
3. The church on the lower right belongs to the town, in the upper left of this photo.
