If you were up early enough to check the standings before church, you may have glimpsed the Rosebuds in fourth place.
That was an error. I figured out where the error came from while sitting in my pew at church — I had loaded the entire season of Rosebud stats rather than just the May numbers. I rushed home afterward and fixed that error, generating these standings:

Portland: W, 4 – (-6). .277, .306, .362; 6.3 ip, 3 er. (Note: the pitching stat line does not show the effect of Portland getting credit, finally for about half of Chris Young’s innings, and about half of Joe Kelly’s innings, too, which erased a bunch of replacement relief innings.)
Alas — there’s still an error here. When I fixed the Rosebud problem, I cut Clay Buchholz off Cottage’s staff accidentally. Unfortunately the database won’t let me correct the standings again. So we’ll have to wait until tomorrow’s update so see what effect Buchholz’s banishment had on the standings.
