So here are the deadlines I am facing:
Sept 26: Grade essays in PSCI 150. It’s getting pretty late on Sept 26 in this time zone.
Sep 28, midnight: Grade the second round of Polimon Go captures in PSCI 150.
Oct. 1: Sabbatical Proposal Due
Oct 1: Book orders for next semester
Oct 1: Report on my activities for the Digital Fluency Initiative project I am part of at GF.
Oct 1: Assessment plans / data brought up to date
Oct 1: (Self-imposed) Get the presidential prognostication contest off the ground
Oct 1: Aggh! I think I’m forgetting one.
Oct 1-ish: Essay finished for students in Community Mediation, so they can have it in time to read it by the due date.
Oct 3: Final standings, EFL, showing the woebegone Woeverines tantalizingly close to the EFL championship, but it might as well be an infinite chasm since the Wolverines couldn’t step up when the chips were down and time was running out.
I got the sabbatical proposal done today, three days early! It’s a miracle! The essay is underway, and the grading is underway, and I’ve thought about the book orders, and the assessment data is all stacked on my desk, and I’ve gotten permission from my mentor to be a little late with the DFI stuff, and maybe I can finish the one I’ve forgotten, if I can only remember it. And I will just have to start the prognostication contest a few days later.
By the way, Oct 1 is the last day of the Community Mediation training unit — three weeks of Thursday evenings and all-day Saturdays. Brilliantly scheduled by some doofus.
And here are today’s standings, without comments. I apologize. If Haviland wanted to go out in a blaze of thoroughly documented glory, it should have let the pennant race be a little more scintillating.

I understand very little of what you wrote about, except for
That one I understood only too well. Along with the part about having no time for comments. Well, I have time for a question and a disclaimer.
Question: Can any team possibly be as bad as the Cheese, who followed up a day on which they went 2-10 with a day on which they went 1-13, without some sort of tomfoolery (with apologies to all Toms out there) going on? Talk about tanking!
Disclaimer: Yes. The management of the Cottage EFL franchise hereby disclaims all responsibility for the awfulness of his team, claiming he did his best on draft day, that those trades made sense at the time, and that there was no way he could have known what was going to happen. Aargh.
