Dear Mr. EFL Answer Man:
Do you happen to know (or can approximate) what the average money is spent per player on ESL rosters (during the season)? More to the point: how many players per roster are above a certain “very expensive” threshold? Say, more than 10 million, and more than 5 million? I am trying to get a sense of how expensive relative to ESL rosters, these Rule 5 players are. My instinct tells me Murgatroid (Editor’s Note: Name was changed to preserve a fellow EFL owner’s proprietary secrets) is not that good of a deal at 9 mil, seeing that so few players cost more than 5 mil or so. Am I missing something?
