Fangraphs is estimating that MLB Opening Day salaries will go up by 6.5% over last year. If that holds (this was calculated before Yoan Moncada signed, for example) and if it were to translate straight across to the EFL (which it won’t, but we won’t know in which direction we’ll vary until we get the actual team-by-team salaries), we should see an increase in the $5,000,000-range over last year’s opening day figure. That would put our Opening Day salaries a little north of $87,000,000, ranked among the MLB teams somewhere between Arizona and Colorado (if that’s even possible).
This is a test comment, mostly, and a probe to see if anyone a) read the post and b) figured out why I referred to Zen in the name of the post. It has to do with the the image of being between Arizona and Colorado.
On a family vacation I once was in both Colorado and Arizona at the same time. This is perhaps the leading tourist thing to do in the desert.
So – do comment notices work?
It did for me.
