Day 6: Lauterbrunnen to Montreux
On Thursday Sept. 17 we travel from the Swiss Alps to Lake Geneva, from the land of cows and cheese to the land of jazz and night-life. We chose this route because of the Golden Pass panorama train, and upgraded our Swiss Travel Passes to first-class for this trip.
The route goes through the Alps down to Lake Geneva, where Montreux is situated right on the eastern shore near Castle Chillon.
